I recently discovered the Ghirardelli Outlet Store in San Leandro at the corporate headquarters. Walking up to the store, the chocolate aroma from the factory surrounds you like a kiss from chocolate heaven. The product is about half price of regular retail. It is a great place to stock up on the classic San Francisco chocolate. One of the many reasons to leave your heart in San Francisco.
